The Disney Look, our appearance guidelines, is an important part of the history and heritage of Disney. As the company continues to evolve, the Disney Look appearance guidelines must be prepared to be re-evaluated with awareness to industry standards. Mustache beard style guide.

In early 2012, the Disney Look appearance guidelines were revised in regards to facial hair. Beards and goatees are now an approved option for U.S. based Walt Disney Parks and Resorts male cast members, unless otherwise restricted by regulatory codes and standards.

Male Disney Internships & Programs participants wishing to have a mustache, beard, or goatee should arrive with their facial hair fully grown in. Partially grown in “stubble” or facial hair with hairless patches is not acceptable. Facial hair cannot be grown during working periods.
